Where can I park?

There are several parking options in and around College Plaza, including underground parking and street parking.  

What happens on the first visit?

When you exit the elevators on the 5th floor, you'll find Suite 506 to your left.  The space is labelled "Transcend  Psychological and Blossom Counselling" - you are in the right place!  You'll enter into our shared waiting room.  There will be a clipboard on the wall to your right with your name on it - please have a seat and fill out our Client Intake Form.  Help yourself to coffee, tea, or water while you wait - your Registered Massage Therapist will be with you a few minutes before your appointment is scheduled to start.  

What are your hours of operation?

At the moment, our schedule varies week to week based on the availability of our therapists.  As our team grows, our schedule will change.  Our goal is to be available from 8:00am to 8:30pm, Monday through Friday, as well as 9:00am to 6:00pm on Saturdays.

Do you offer direct billing services?

We do!  For any clients who wish to utilize our direct billing services, we will ask that you fill out a Credit Card Pre-authorization form.  The purpose of this form is so that if something goes wrong when we attempt to process your claim, we have a back-up method of payment.  No charges will be placed on your credit card without your approval.

I'm pregnant - can I book a massage?

While our therapists are trained in Pre-Natal Massage Therapy, we are limited by the storage space in our treatment room.  If you are pregnant but still comfortable laying face down on the massage table, please feel free to book with us (and be sure to inform your therapist that you are pregnant).  If you've "popped", and require pregnancy bolsters or a side-lying massage, unfortunately we cannot accommodate you at the time.

Can my son/daughter get a massage?

Absolutely - our Registered Massage Therapists are great with kids.  If you or your child would be more comfortable, you can remain in the room for a portion or the duration of their treatment.  It's best if you accompany them for their assessment, so that if they are unsure of the procedures or have any questions, you can help them out.  Many benefit plans include massage coverage for kids - we can direct bill for their treatment as well.  Children aged 5-12 can be booked online - if you are interested in booking an appointment for someone younger than 5, please contact us via email at

Should I cancel my massage if I am not feeling well?

In order to prevent the spread of germs to your RMT and other clients, we recommend that you cancel your massage if you have any of the following symptoms:

- nausea, vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours

- fever, or fever related symptoms, in the last 24 hours (chills, aches, fatigue)

- if your nose is itchy or runny, or if you are sneezy (and it's not due to allergies)

- if you have a cough

- if someone in your household is unwell and you are feeling 'not quite right' 

When cancelling an appointment, please try to give as much notice as possible.  Appointments can be cancelled online (until 24 hours before your appointment is scheduled to start), or by calling 780-238-6824.

Is there a missed appointment/late cancellation fee?

In the event that you miss your appointment or cancel with less than 24 hours notice, you may be charged a $40 fee.  This fee cannot be charged to the client's benefits, and must be paid in full at the next appointment.
