Frequently Asked Questions
COVID-19 Related Information
Do I need to wear a mask to my appointment?
We recommend that you wear a mask during your physiotherapy or massage therapy session. It is also requested that you don your mask before entering the building. Clients will not wear their mask while they are face down on the massage table, but will be given the opportunity to put it back on when they turn face up. Disposable and reusable masks are both acceptable, and we have disposable masks available for purchase on site ($2.00)
What PPE will my therapist be wearing?
When you see Keeley for physiotherapy, she will be wearing a mask for the duration of your treatment. More information regarding masking during physiotherapy can be found here.
What other changes can I expect in the clinic?
Here are a few things you will notice:
Should I cancel my treatment if I'm not feeling well?
During these unprecedented circumstances, we ask that you err on the side of caution when it comes to deciding whether or not to cancel an appointment. We have adjusted our late cancellation policy, and will not be charging a fee for any cancellations up to one hour before the scheduled start time of the appointment. We will be happy to reschedule your visit for a time when you are feeling better, to minimize the risk to the therapists and the other clients sharing the space. Thank you in advance for understanding.
Physiotherapy Questions
Do I need a doctor's referral to make an appointment?
No, a doctor's referral is not required before you book a physiotherapy assessment. Some insurance companies require the doctor's referral in order to be eligible for coverage - contact your insurance provider if you are unsure.

Why do you need my credit card number on file?
Effective June 1, 2020, our online booking system requires an active credit card number on file before any appointments can be booked. At the time of your appointment, you may choose to pay with a different card or by e-Transfer instead. If we are direct billing on your behalf, the card will not be charged unless the claim is denied or only party covered by your benefits. Storing the number on your file is a secure and efficient way to streamline our billing and payment process. In the event of a 'no show' or cancelling within 1 hour of your appointment, a missed appointment fee will be charged to this credit card.

Yes, your massage therapist is trained in prenatal massage and will adjust your treatment and positioning accordingly. Please make a note when booking your appointment to let us know that you are pregnant, and how far along, so we can make the necessary preparations before you arrive.
