Academic Staff – Sun Life policy includes $1,800 for paramedical services, up to $600 of which can be used for massage therapy. There is a maximum coverage of $75 per visit. No doctor’s note or referral is needed, and direct billing is available in most cases.
Support Staff – Massage therapy fees can be submitted to the member’s Health Spending Account (HSA) for reimbursement consideration.
Postdoctoral Fellows – Full-time employees are covered for massage therapy with an annual maximum of $500.
Management and Professional Staff – Coverage provided through Sun Life. Includes massage therapy services up to $75 per treatment, with a maximum of $600 per year. No doctor’s note or referral is required.
